For seven years, I was the editor of Canada’s oversized, glossy tribute to the communication and graphic arts, as well as being vice-president of the magazine's publishing company. Among the kudos Applied Arts won for its coverage of the design, advertising, photography, illustration and new media industries was the National Magazine Foundation Award for Overall Editorial Excellence.
